Music game on one phone: pass it around the table

Only one phone? That is the whole design. The group shares a screen and a speaker.

Free to try. Log in with an email code, no password and no app to install.

The game was made for one phone. A turn starts when the phone arrives in your hand, you hear the preview, place the song and pass it on. There is nothing to sync and nothing to install on other devices.

That keeps eyes up and conversation going. Nobody stares at their own screen, the phone is a prop, like the deck of cards it replaces.

How it works

  1. 1

    Log in with a code

Enter your email address and type the code we send you. No password, no app.

  2. 2

    Pick a deck

Choose a popular deck, one of your own, or scan the QR code of a deck you have.

  3. 3

    Add the players

Add everyone who plays and choose how many cards are needed to win. One phone is enough.

  4. 4

    Listen and place

Hear a 30 second preview and place the song on your timeline. Right answers grow your timeline, the first to fill it wins.

The timeline in one look

Every player builds a timeline of songs in release order. You never see the year of the new song: you listen, then decide where it fits between the songs you already placed.

Tips for this game

Use a speaker

Bluetooth or a smart speaker makes the previews audible to the room.

Pass on every turn

The game shows whose turn it is.

Lock the screen orientation

Portrait works best on phones.

What you get

One phone, whole group

The phone goes from hand to hand. Nobody needs their own device or an account.

Real music

Songs play as 30 second previews, enough to recognise a chorus and argue about the year.

Free decks to start

Popular public decks are free to play. Want your own songs? Turn any playlist into a deck, the first 100 cards are free.
