What is SW4?
South West Four takes its name from the SW4 postcode covering Clapham in south London. What started as a single-day event in 2004 quickly grew into one of the capital's most anticipated summer weekends. The festival sits right on the cusp between club culture and festival culture, bringing the best of both worlds: world-class DJs on powerful sound systems, but in the open air with a proper festival atmosphere.
Over the years, SW4 has attracted an extraordinary roll call of electronic music legends: Faithless, Fatboy Slim, The Chemical Brothers, Disclosure, Chase and Status, Eric Prydz, Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Sub Focus, Rudimental, Sigma, and many more. The lineup always reflects the full spectrum of electronic genres, from euphoric house to dark techno to bass-heavy drum and bass.
