Strummingbird 2026: country meets pop on tour
Strummingbird is Australia's touring country festival, and the 2026 run is a big one. Post Malone headlines three stops: Victoria Park in Ballarat on 10 October, Newcastle Foreshore on 17 October and the Kawana Sports Precinct on the Sunshine Coast on 18 October. Bailey Zimmerman is second on the bill, followed by Cooper Alan, Stella Lefty and Dexter & The Moonrocks.
What makes it fun is the mix. Modern country, pop, rap and rock all share one field, and the crowd sings along to all of it. That makes it a perfect source for a party game.
What is Hitster?
Hitster is the party game where every card hides a song behind a QR code. You scan it, listen, and place the card on your timeline by release year. Get the order right and the card is yours. The first player with ten cards wins.
Why Strummingbird makes a great Hitster pack
Post Malone alone covers almost a decade of hits, from the SoundCloud days of "White Iverson" to the country turn of "I Had Some Help". Add the new country generation and you get a timeline where the years are close together, which is exactly what makes Hitster hard. Was "Sunflower" before or after "Beautiful Crazy"? (Same year, as it happens.)
It is also a pack that works for a mixed group. Your country fans and your pop fans will each know half of it, and they will have to trust each other on the rest.
11 songs for your Strummingbird Hitster pack
Here is a starting list. These are our picks, not the festival setlist, and the years are the original release of each song:
The 2018 cluster is the trap: three songs, one year. Add anything you like from the rest of the lineup and you have a full deck.
How to build the pack with Hitify
With Hitify you turn a list like this into a real Hitster pack in minutes. Paste a Spotify playlist or search the songs one by one, and Hitify checks the original release year of each track. Streaming services often show the year of a deluxe edition or a compilation, so the date on the card is not always the date the song came out.
When your list is ready, download the cards as a printable PDF with QR codes, or order a printed deck delivered to your door. Scan the codes with your phone and play.
