Mempho Music Festival 2026: three days of Memphis soul and jam

From October 9 to 11, 2026 the Radians Amphitheater at the Memphis Botanic Garden hosts the ninth Mempho Music Festival. It is a festival in the city of Sun Studio and Stax, mixing jam bands, indie, roots and electronic music in one garden setting.

Pretty Lights opens on Friday with Spoon and Broken Social Scene. Widespread Panic plays two sets on both Saturday and Sunday, joined by Gary Clark Jr., Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs, De La Soul, Ziggy Marley and Fishbone.

What is Hitster?

Hitster is the card game where every card has a QR code that plays a song, and you guess the year it came out. Place the card correctly on your timeline and you keep it. A bill like Mempho is perfect, because it spans 1969 to 2011 in one night.

Build your own Mempho Hitster pack

With Hitify you build a pack around any taste, including a festival like Mempho. Search for songs or paste a Spotify playlist and Hitify looks up the original release year of each track. Then you download printable cards with QR codes or order a printed game.

  • De La Soul - Me Myself and I (1989): golden age hip hop, a De La Soul staple
  • Marc Cohn - Walking in Memphis (1991): the Memphis anthem, even strangers hum it
  • Fishbone - Everyday Sunshine (1991): ska-funk that lifts any room
