Pitchfork Music Festival Paris 2026: a week of indie across the city
From Monday 2 to Sunday 8 November 2026, the 15th Pitchfork Music Festival Paris takes over around ten venues in the city, including Trabendo, Café de la Danse, Badaboum and L'Elysée Montmartre. Instead of one big field it is a week of club nights, which is exactly why Paris indie fans love it.
The 2026 bill mixes post-punk, dream pop and art pop: Iceage, DIIV, Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupul, Headache and Bassvictim, plus a separate Avant-Garde series on 5 to 7 November with around 55 more acts. Several nights are already sold out, so the line-up is a good guide to what indie sounds like right now.
What is Hitster?
Hitster is the party game where every card hides a song behind a QR code. You scan it, listen, and place the card on your timeline by release year. Get the order right and the card is yours. The first player with ten cards wins.
Why Pitchfork makes a great Hitster pack
Pitchfork built its name on spotting the records that later became canon. That gives you a timeline from the garage-rock revival of the early 2000s to the bedroom-pop and post-punk of today. Everyone can hum Kids, but can you say whether it came out in 2006 or 2007? Indie albums also get deluxe editions and reissues, so the argument over the year is guaranteed.
10 songs for your Pitchfork Paris Hitster pack
The festival has no official playlist, so these are our picks: indie landmarks plus two names from the 2026 line-up. The years are the original release of each recording:
Do not stop at these ten. Hitify shows the real release year of each track, so deluxe editions and anniversary reissues do not trick you.
How to build the pack with Hitify
With Hitify you turn a list like this into a real Hitster pack in minutes. Paste a Spotify playlist or search songs one by one, and Hitify checks the original release year of each track. That matters for indie, where records are reissued on vinyl and streaming years after the first release.
When your list is ready, download the cards as a printable PDF with QR codes, or order a printed deck delivered to your door. Scan the codes with your phone and play.
