III Points 2026: Miami's left-field festival

On Friday October 16 and Saturday October 17, 2026, III Points takes over Mana Wynwood in Miami. The gates open at 5 PM and the music runs until 4 AM, spread over outdoor stages between the warehouses and murals of the Wynwood art district. It is not the Miami of Ultra and South Beach pool parties. It is the Miami that stays out late for a four-hour DJ set and then argues about it over breakfast.

The festival started in 2013, when David Sinopoli and Erica Freshman wanted a festival for the music their city was not getting. The name stands for its three points: music, art and technology. The first edition drew about 2,500 people. Since then it has booked Justice, LCD Soundsystem, DARKSIDE, Arca and Massive Attack, always next to rappers, local acts and things you cannot put in a box.

This year is no different. Underworld and Four Tet share a bill with Bone Thugs-n-Harmony and Lil' Kim. Tricky, Flying Lotus, Blood Orange, Kelela, Danny Brown, Parcels, Men I Trust, Charlotte de Witte, Honey Dijon and Adam Port are on it too, plus long back-to-back sets from Floating Points, Seth Troxler and DJ Harvey.

What is Hitster?

Hitster is the party game where every card hides a song behind a QR code. You scan it, listen and place the card on your timeline by release year. If the order is right, the card is yours. The first player with ten cards wins.

Most decks are full of pop hits from the radio. A III Points deck is something else: trip-hop, techno, nineties rap, disco revival and Afro house, all on one table.

Why III Points makes a great Hitster pack

Electronic music is wonderfully hard to date. "Born Slippy .NUXX" still sounds like the future, yet it came out in 1996 and became huge through the Trainspotting soundtrack. Parcels play disco so faithfully that half the table will put "Tieduprightnow" in 1979, and it is from 2018. Men I Trust sound like a lost soft rock tape from the eighties.

Then there are the traps. "Lady Marmalade" is a 1974 song by Labelle, but the version with Lil' Kim is the 2001 Moulin Rouge! cover. And because the lineup jumps from 1995 to 2024, your timeline gets long and every card has room to go wrong.

11 songs for your III Points Hitster pack

Here is a starting list built from this year's lineup. Every year is the original release of that recording:

  • Tricky - Overcome (1995)
  • Underworld - Born Slippy .NUXX (1996)
  • Bone Thugs-n-Harmony - Tha Crossroads (1996)
  • Christina Aguilera, Lil' Kim, Mýa & P!nk - Lady Marmalade (2001)
  • Blood Orange - You're Not Good Enough (2013)
  • Flying Lotus - Never Catch Me (feat. Kendrick Lamar) (2014)
  • Danny Brown - Ain't It Funny (2016)
  • Parcels - Tieduprightnow (2018)
  • Men I Trust - Show Me How (2018)
  • Four Tet - Baby (feat. Ellie Goulding) (2020)
  • Adam Port, Stryv & Keinemusik - Move (feat. Malachiii) (2024)
  • Want more? Add a few classics from earlier editions, like Massive Attack's "Teardrop" (1998), Justice's "D.A.N.C.E." (2007) and LCD Soundsystem's "Dance Yrself Clean" (2010). Tricky sang on Massive Attack's first album, so those two cards make a nice pair.

How to build the pack with Hitify

With Hitify you turn a list like this into a real Hitster pack in minutes. Paste a Spotify playlist or search the songs one by one, and Hitify checks the original release year of every track. That matters for dance music, where remasters, remixes and compilations often show the wrong year on streaming services.

When your list is ready, download the cards as a printable PDF with QR codes, or order a printed deck delivered to your door. Scan with your phone and play.
